The main purpose of this paper is to summarize and review the data on the implications of puberty suppression in children and adolescents. II. The main results and conclusions of the paper suggest that puberty suppression when used in cases where adolescents express lots of gender dysphoria were beneficial. Psychological benefits have been shown in the studies, however more research is definitely necessary. III. The research methods of this paper were to overview other case studies done by previous researchers and summarize the findings from 1998 when the first GnRH study was conducted up until the release of the article, and explore whether it beneficial for people. IV. This paper is relevant to my topic because it shows what the impact of a sample of adolescents who experience gender dysphoria has on the adolescent brain.
